Patara Beach
Patara beach is probably the best beach in the world. 18 km long beach is made of fine white sand without any pubbles. It is well protected as it is a natural laying area for endangered sea turtles- Caretta Carettas. There is no man-made structure near the beach besides a small cafe. The Beach Cafe is run by local governship to provide umbrellas and sun beds.
We have shuttle service to beach which run two times a days. Guest can enjoy 30 min walk to the beach passing through Patara Ancient City.
Sand Dunes are very popular place in Patara beach. It has a superb view thus most of the people go there to see sun set. In the area it is possible to see whole beach from above. Bringing drinks is recommended.
Although being at beach after 7 pm is forbidden because of protection of Caretta Carettas there is a possibility to join protection team's works.
